Meet Kobe: A Smart, Playful Pup Ready to Learn and Love

Kobe is a truly special “puppy-teenager” with a bright mind and a playful spirit. He’s incredibly affectionate, quick to learn, and absolutely loves water—today he was seeking out every available pool in the yard for a splash! Kobe is currently living happily with a group of male and female dogs at the shelter, showing his social side.

However, Kobe is also a young dog with character, and he has a tendency to guard resources. This is a common behavior in young dogs, and with consistent, positive-reinforcement training, it’s something that can definitely be managed and resolved, especially since he’s still so young. For this reason, we are looking for a family with prior dog experience who understands the importance of positive education. If you already have a dog, our canine educators will be happy to facilitate a smooth introduction.
